Why breathwork?

“The breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites the body to the thoughts. When the breath wanders the mind is unsteady, but when the breath is calmed, the mind too will be still.”

Thich Nhat Hanh

It all starts and ends with the breath.

Our breath, or prana, is literally what keeps us alive, and yet, so often, we go through the daily life breathing shallow, denying ourselves our full life force and often keeping us in a state of anxiety, or fight or flight.

Breathwork, or the process of conscious control of the rate, rhythm and depth of breathing, moves us out of fight or flight and into the parasympathetic nervous system. It is said that how we breathe is how we live, and so to live life to its fullest, we should breathe to our fullest. And that's where breathwork practice comes in. It can literally raise our energy, regulate our state to create emotional well being and build resilience.

Bridging ancient wisdom with modern science breathwork can help to calm your mind, reconnect with your body, improve you ability to focus, perform and be more present. Discover the power of the breath and start living a healthier, happier life.
